Day 7 and 8

These past few days have been awesome. We took the famous peak tram [1]to the even more famous peak to see the fabulous view of the Hong Kong Harbor. The tram was by far the best mode of transportation we have tried so far. It climbs 1200 feet [1.1]and it's pulled by steel cables1.2. It looked amazing because you're going through the trees so it seems so high! Onion_084.gif

We spent some time looking around and taking fabulous pictures before we left and went to explore the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Unfortunately there wasn't anything going on for us to see but we still looked around because it is one of the major bulidings in the city. It has a total rentable exhibition space of 90,000 sqaure meters-huge! Onion_070.gif

Not only did we get to experience all of this awesome stuff but we also had dinner on the Jumbo restaurant. It is one of two floating restaurants on the harbor, and is it ever spectacular. There are actually two restaurants on the jumbo, one serves western cuisine and the other serves traditional chinese cuisine, and of course we went for the chinese. The boat holds 2300 people at a time, not including the 300 staff members, it was pretty full the night we went but they never seem to run out of the fabulous seafood. We would definitely recommend you going on the Jumbo Kingdom restaurant if you ever come to Hong Kong. Onion_016.gif
