23/12 - 24/12 - lots of things to say!!!
24/12/2007
Hi! I’m Vanessa! One of the blog masters! Yesterday Emily, Judy and I went to Hong Kong Disneyland!! Actually I was worried about this trip, because usually Emily doesn't talk too much; same as Judy, and Emily was so stupid!
I thought this would be a boring trip, but after yesterday, I changed my mind, because Emily was always trying so hard to find common topics for the three of us! Oh! Emily is so cute!!! hahaha!!!
Yesterday we took the MTR to Disneyland. There was a special route for it, and it was called Disneyland Resort route[1.1]. The train was really cool, big Mickey Mouse posters were everywhere inside and outside the train!

This train was special, because it was the first remote control train in Hong Kong. There was no driver in the driving control compartment so we had an opportunity to go inside and looked around!!
Even the station is so cool!!!

We brought our tickets at the Hong Kong Disneyland Ticket Express which was located at the Tung Chung Concourse of the MTR Hong Kong Station, so we did not have to buy them at Disneyland Main Entrance!! We got the map at the station too!!
We were so SMART!!!! hahahahaha!!!!!!!
We went to the Main Street, U.S.A when we arrived at Disneyland to see Mickey’s House, then to the Adventureland to play Jungle River Cruise, and Tarzan Island!!! We went to Fantasyland for our lunch and caught up the train at Fantasyland Train Station. This route was only going around the whole Disneyland. We needed to catch that train because we wanted to get off the Main Street, U.S.A, to see the parade!!!

After the parade show, we went to Tomorrowland!! We played Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Space Mountain and Autopia!!!
After that we went back to Fantasyland! We wanted to watch the Mickey’s PhilharMagic, it was the Disney's biggest animated three-dimensional video. Then we went to the fun-filled spin in an oversized tea cup and took flight over Fantasyland with the circus elephant. We also went to the Castle, this was the main icon for Disneyland, we couldn’t miss that!! Suddenly Emily said she hoped she could be a princess and live in the castle to wait for the prince to come….. and that she started singing “Some Day My Prince Will Come”...... Emily was really weird......
At around 8:30pm we went back to the Main Street, U.S.A to wait for the fireworks!!!

After that, we had our dinner and walked around before we took the MTR back to the hotel.... so tried......

24/12
Yesterday we spent the whole day in Disneyland, this morning we almost didn’t want to wake up. Judy said there would be a special offer after 2:00pm in the "Chinese Restaurant(酒樓)" in which we could have dim sum. Everything would be around $10.00 HKD only. The Chinese restaurants here mainly served with dim sum; noodle and rice and traditional chinese milk tea in the morning till late afternoon, and then served Chinese dishes in the evening. Because of the special offer, we decided to sleep longer and wake up at 1:30pm!! Haha!! We were so lazy!!!

After we had our dim sum, we took the MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui. We went to Avenue of Stars at Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront which was facing the Victoria Harbor. The Avenue of Stars is modeled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

(This were the hand prints of Jackie Chan) (Bruce Lee's sculpture)
We staied at the Avenue of Stars until 8pm, because there were laswer show at 8pm every night!!!

We went shopping at Harbor City, the mall was decorated with lots of lights, so cool!!! Also, there was a big TV on top of the wall at the main entrance!!!!

We had our dinner at McDonald’s, because Emily said there was a hamburger which Calgary didn’t have. It’s called “Chicken Fàn-tastic” and “Beef Fàn-tastic”, the bread was replaced by rice with mushroom and soy sauce. It’s like a big hot sushi!

(Chicken Fàn-tastic)
It’s really different and yummy!!!
After that, we went to see the illumination. There were lots of lights in the signs and portraits relating to Christmas hanging outside the buildings at Tsim Sha Tsui!!

They were really nice, but… OH MY GOD!!! There’re lots of people!!!!!!
At around 11:00pm, we went to Lan Kwai Fong to have drinks! There were lots of bars on this street! Because today was Christmas Eve, lots of people came here to count down and celebrate Christmas!!!!

We stayed there until 3:00am, and then we took the MTR back to the hotel!! Most of the transit services worked 24 hours today because it’s Christmas Eve!!!! That’s so sweet!!!!
Today I was so tired too.....
