Stanley Market & Murray House
Hong Kong Island
29/12/2007 - 29/12/2007
Today was our last day on Hong Kong Island, and what a better way to end it then shopping?! We bought a ton of souvenirs[1] such as traditional Chinese clothing garments[1.1]and many small ornaments[1.2]. We spent the whole day at Stanley Market which is all open air so it didn't even feel like shopping-no air conditioning and stuff like malls back home. We have done a fair amount of shopping this trip but today was much more successful because everything was so inexpensive! We even got a little taste of home because they just recently opened a Hagan-Dasz shop!

We went to "Chinese Restaurant(酒樓)" to have our dinner!!

(Deep Fried Squid) (Fried Chicken With Broccoli)

(Fried Scallop With Broccoli) (Sweet And Sour Pork)
We had to finish our night off with a nice dinner of course so we decided to go to the famous Murray House where there were tons of places to eat. The Murray House[1]has the Hong Kong Maritime Museum in it so we of course looked around there for quite some time. It has over 500 exhibits[1.1]so we unfortunately didn't get to see everything, but it was still pretty interesting to see so much of Hong Kong's seafaring history.

Tomorrow morning we are off to spend some time in Kowloon!
